Kids Show Amazing Insight When Asked What They Think About Religion

"What does religion mean to you?"
YouTube channel BeingIndian teamed up with filmmaker N Padmakumar to pose this question to a group of children -- who offered poignant responses that even adults can stand to learn from.
"Religion? It is like family," one little girl says. Another child says he thinks religion is "something people believe so that they can make themselves less scared."
Next the filmmakers ask the children whether they have any friends from other religions and whether they see these friends as being different from themselves. Most shake their heads or offer small differences they see, such as language or how they each refer to their gods.
In all their answers, the young people show an openness and respect for one another that we can all learn from.
