Rough translation of the report in Urdu published by a Pakistani newspaper New York Awam:
New York Awam, a New York based Urdu Weekly (www: Newyorkawam.org) in its issue of December 6th, 2013 has reported as under:
Lahore (on line): In an interview in New Delhi, Indian Chief of Army Staff General Bikram Singh said that if Pakistan is willing to fight the fourth war with India, it should take the initiative and attack India. But after that Pakistan will be completely wiped out.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawab Sharif is trying to threaten India. But he should remember that India is militarily a very powerful nation. Hence India cannot be cowed down or terrorized by any country.
Referring to Nawab Sharif, General Bikram Singh said that it is unbecoming on the part of those who, on one hand, talk about friendship with India and on the other hand issue threatening statements. We do not expect such statements from Nawab Sharif. The Army Chief further said that in view of such threatening statements, Indian army is working on different strategies to handle Pakistan.
