UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Akhilesh Yadav's wife and Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav, Akshay Pratap (MP from Firozabad) and Dharmendra Yadav (MP from Badaun) will be part of the SP delegation attending the inauguration.
Mulayam Singh flew into the national capital late Sunday.
11.00 am:Rajapaksa, Ramgoolam arrive for Modi’s swearing-in
Sri Lankana President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam arrived in New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Mr. Rajapaksa is among the six SAARC heads of state invited for the swearing-in which will be attended by nearly 4,000 guests in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan later today.
Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay and Speaker of Bangladesh Shirin Chaudhry, who is representing her Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, arrived on Sunday for the ceremony.
The Shiv Sena has decided to attend Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi’s oath-taking ceremony on Monday despite its misgivings about Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s presence at the event.

Ahead of being sworn in as India’s 15th Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Monday visited Rajghat and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
Mr. Modi spent around 10 minutes at Rajghat.
A number of Delhi BJP leaders, including Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Mr. Vijay Goel and Mr. Vijender Gupta were present at Rajghat.
